RiskSafe Conducts Investigation Planning and Crime Scene Management Training For Cambodian Ministry of Health Inspectors

RiskSafe provided a three-day Investigation Planning and Crime Scene Management training course to Cambodian Ministry of Health inspectors in July. Recent brand protection and anti-counterfeit work conducted by RiskSafe on behalf of a client identified numerous illegally diverted medicines being sold in the Cambodian market.

RiskSafe worked with Ministry of Health Inspectors to conduct enforcement action against businesses that were suspected of supplying illegally diverted medicine. During the enforcement action, it became apparent to RiskSafe that Inspectors from the Ministry of Health lacked training in areas such as investigation planning, raid planning, crime scene management, crime scene searching and evidence collection.

As a result RiskSafe, supported by our client, provided a three-day training course to ten Ministry of Health Inspectors using theory- and practice- based training materials.

RiskSafe Managing Director Steve Morrish said, “It is always a great feeling to be able to provide some training and pass on my experience to people in Cambodia who need it. I am confident that the training that we have provided will enable the inspectors to plan their investigations more thoroughly and they will have a better understanding of what process to follow when they conduct raids on suspect businesses”.
